Television fans and online auction aficionados are in luck! Some of TV’s biggest shows are auctioning off items for a good cause.
The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation has launched its 3rd Annual Primetime Emmy Season Online Auction, and will be selling props and signed memorabilia from hit television shows such as “30 Rock,” “Family Guy,” “Lost” and “Hot in Cleveland” to the highest bidders.
Besides memorabilia, fans can also bid on set visits to “How I Met Your Mother,” VIP tickets to a behind-the-scenes tour of “The Young and the Restless” hosted by series star Kate Linder as well as a visit to a table read for “Family Guy,” amongst others.

Additionally, Emmy enthusiasts can look forward to experiencing the Emmy Awards — on NBC on Sunday, Aug. 29 — like a star by placing bids on an HBO Emmys After-Party Package. Also available are collector’s items such as an Emmy poster with autographs of winners and presenters from last year’s telecast including Ricky Gervais, Amy Poehler, Simon Baker, Neil Patrick Harris, Sigourney Weaver, and this year’s host, Jimmy Fallon — as well as a special issue of Emmy Magazine featuring signatures from the principal voiceover actors of “The Simpsons.”

“The auction is a terrific way for TV fans everywhere to take home a piece of a favorite show while supporting a great cause,” Norma Provencio Pichardo, Executive Director of the Television Academy Foundation, said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “We are so grateful to the television community for supporting the Foundation by providing A-List, one-of-a-kind items and experiences that fans can enjoy.”

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Television Academy Foundation, whose key educational and preservation programs include its Summer Internship Program, the College Television Awards, the Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship and the Archive of American Television.

Before the big show, Access Hollywood’s own Billy Bush and Maria Menounos — along with Nate Berkus, will host NBC’s 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards Red Carpet Special, live at 4 p.m. PT from the Nokia Theater at LA Live.
