By now, everyone knows that a quartet of leading ladies will be putting on the proton packs in the upcoming "Ghostbusters" reboot. But Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon aren't the only women behind the next installment in the franchise. Far from it.
New ‘Ghostbusters’ cast and crew display their girl power
Aug. 26, 201500:28On Tuesday, McCarthy tweeted a photo of the full female cast and crew.
Jones, McCarthy, McKinnon and Wiig are seen front and center in the shot holding a big "Girl Power" banner, while 53 other women and girls stand behind them holding up smaller signs identifying their roles in the project.
Everyone in the photo sports a big smile, from stuntwomen, actresses, makeup artists and more.

In the tweet, McCarthy gives "3 cheers to Ellen [DeGeneres]" from the group, and adds that "When we stand together we are unstoppable."
The shout-out to the talk host comes hot on the heels of DeGeneres' girl-power collaboration between her clothing and lifestyle line ED and Gap, called GapKids x ED.

McCarthy's Tuesday tweet has fans celebrating on social media, but on Wednesday, it's McCarthy who's celebrating — her birthday! The actress turns 45.
