Celebrity relationships come and go, but Courteney Cox believes one Hollywood marriage will last a lifetime — her own.

According to the “Dirt” star, she and her husband of nine years, David Arquette, make it through the tough times by talking to therapists instead of divorce lawyers.

“I get shocked by people getting divorced all the time, that’s why I choose to work on it,” Cox explained to the UK's Mail on Sunday. “Therapy helps us. It's so easy to grow apart; marriage takes work. I suppose you can work it out by talking to each other — I would just prefer to have a referee, it reminds us why we're together.”

Though her own parents divorced when she was just 10 years old, Cox credits her father with teaching her that staying together is worth the extra effort.

“Before my dad died, he said one of his big regrets was that he hadn't worked on their marriage enough,” she recalled. “I don't know what the future's going to hold, but divorce isn't really an option.”

It’s a career to make a mother proud, but his mom just wants him to slow down. After all, that all work and no play philosophy won’t make Connie Seacrest a grandmother any time soon.

“I wish he had more time to date,” the Seacrest matriarch told Momlogic. “That would be wonderful for him — and we'd stand a better chance for him to have a relationship.”

Connie Seacrest already has the perfect woman planned out (“his best friend, lover and eventually one day the mother of his children”), but for now, she maintains a hopeful yet hands-off approach to her son’s love life or lack thereof.

“My rule is that you just observe and wait until they ask for your opinion,” she said. “I'm keeping my fingers crossed!”

After Rosie O’Donnell’s recent claim that working on “The View” left her with post-traumatic stress disorder, Barbara Walters is the one feeling stressed out. “Barbara says that with all she’s done and accomplished in TV news, now all anyone’s going to think about is that she’s a wicked boss,” a friend of the 79-year-old revealed to the National Enquirer. “Rosie’s hurt her more than you could ever imagine.” … If the pros from “Dancing with the Stars” had their way, they’d be dancing with the A-listers. “I've always wanted Jennifer Aniston (as a partner),” Mark Ballas told Myfm. As for hoofer Derek Hough, he put in a plea for Angelina Jolie. But both men know there’s no need to get their hopes up, as Ballas, who waltzed around Kim Kardashian last season, realistically added, “It's not gonna happen!”
