Some lucky "Saved by the Bell" fans picked a great day to eat at The Max, Chicago's themed pop-up diner honoring the cult-favorite '90s TV show.

They got a visit from A.C. Slater himself! (Also known as "Extra"s Mario Lopez.)

"Have to cruise by this SBTB diner while in town," Lopez wrote in an Instagram caption, before sharing a series of videos depicting said cruise.

First, he admired the graffiti wall covered in quotes from the show (think: "I'm so excited!") and the replica of Slater's locker (though he seemed baffled by the doll-sized basketball jersey hanging inside).

Then he descended on the fans. Warning: Many, many meta-selfies ahead.

Lopez had a laugh at the menu, shouting out the "A.C. sliders" and the "Albert Clifford," his namesake signature cocktail.

"Why's it gotta be a margarita?" the actor, 42, joked.

Lopez has been hyping the project since it was announced back in February. "I'm super pumped with the press and hearing them discussing it on The TODAY Show and seeing it on the front page of some pretty big publications," event organizer Derek Berry told TODAY in April. "But when [former cast members] Mario Lopez Instagrammed a picture of the event page shouting out the 'AC Sliders,' I was like, 'Oh man, it's on!'"

And it looks like his visit didn't disappoint. We just hope he got to taste the sliders too.

Oink, oink, baby!
