Engage! With your nation's political process, that is. "Star Trek" star Patrick Stewart tweeted out a message on Tuesday, Election Day, showing himself wearing a dramatically long red, white and blue tie emblazoned with the word "VOTE."
Fans reacted positively to Stewart's encouragement.
Stewart wasn't the only actor encouraging fans to turn out at their polling places. Rob Lowe, who once starred in political drama "The West Wing," played a senator on "Brothers and Sisters," and once portrayed President John F. Kennedy in a TV movie, also tweeted encouragement.
