Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony may have been born in New York City, but judging from the reaction they got in Puerto Rico last night, the people of the island think of them as their very own.
Lopez and Anthony went back to their roots for the world premiere of “El Cantante” where they didn’t just wow the crowd, they joined them.
“You feel like you’re home you know,” Anthony told “Access” of the screams the crowd gave the couple.
Dazzling, in a form fitted and one-shouldered champagne concoction, Lopez’ frenzied fans flipped out over the lovely lady.
Anthony revealed to “Access” last night that he snuck in extra kisses in the movie to share with his wife.
The affectionate couple also sent their love to good friends the Beckhams, who were busy with their big bash and unable to make the trip.
“We are hoping they make it to the premiere in New York. We don’t know. They said they would try,” Anthony revealed.
He also added a word of support for the new Galaxy star.
“I just want to say ‘Dave, Congratulations on your first game. Sorry we couldn’t be there,’” he told our cameras.
In addition to their Puerto Rico stop, Anthony and Lopez have a lot of co-traveling in their future. As reported yesterday on AccessHollywood.com, the two will be touring together.
