All theater shows in London’s West End were canceled on Thursday after bomb attacks in the morning rush hour that killed 37 people and injured 700.

The Society of London Theatre, umbrella group for one of London’s major tourist attractions, said the decision was made after police advised people not to travel into the centre of the capital.

The Royal Opera House called off a performance of “Othello” while weekend concerts by R.E.M. and Queen have been postponed.
