There was no sprinkler head attached to Shaun Robinson’s microphone at the premiere of “Herbie: Fully Loaded,” unlike the prank pulled on Tom Cruise.
But there was plenty of something you don’t normally see Lindsay Lohan out in — sunshine!
“I didn’t know it would be this insane!” said Lindsay. “So cool!”
When Lindsay got out of her car at the premiere, “I said, ‘Well, where do I go?” Cause I just saw the block shut down!”
It was Disney magic as Hollywood Boulevard transformed into a racetrack red carpet for the premiere of “Herbie: Fully Loaded.” There were race cars, rides, bleachers full of fans, a start and a finish line, even some real-life Herbies and their owners — and the movie’s star, Lindsay Lohan, came dressed to pose in Valentino.
Although Lindsay wasn’t dressed to race any of the cars on hand, she certainly rules the racetrack in the film. “It’s like we’re connected or something,” says Lindsay of her bond with Herbie.
While the premiere was Father’s Day, Lindsay’s mom, Dina, was the one by her side. Swarmed with fans, Lindsay shared the spotlight with co-stars Michael Keaton and Matt Dillon, as well as this year’s Indy 500 sensation, Danica Patrick.
Lindsay was reminded that she was last seen stalking Brad Pitt at the “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” premiere. “He’s so cool,” gushed Lindsay. “I said, ‘I just have to introduce myself!’ And he didn’t know who I was and he was like, ‘I want to talk to you later,’ and I was like, ‘huhhhh!’”
The two later met at the after-party for “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” “He was really sweet!” said Lindsay, who’s now on the lookout for the photo she and Brad took together. “I saw the picture. It has to be framed! I have to find it!” she said, laughing.
