2010 wasn't exactly Lindsay Lohan's year (to say the least). Nevertheless, the Mean Girls star rang in the new year with an optimistic tweet.
"Today is the first day of the rest of my life 'The future depends on what we do in the present.' -Mahatma Gandhi... One step at a time...," Lohan wrote Saturday.

This is the first time Lohan has hit the social networking site since allegedly getting into a scuffle with an employee at the Betty Ford center where she is currently rehabbing.
Although the alleged battery victim dropped her criminal complaint against Lohan, the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
But here's hoping that Lindsay's optimism and steady progress are also ongoing in 2011 and beyond.
