You may not know his name, but you’ve probably come across Ralph Stanley’s work. Growing up, he and his brother didn’t want to work in the mines of Virginia so they formed a band called “The Stanley Brothers and the Clinch Mountain Boys.” Stanley went on to influence and play with greats like Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, and George Jones.
