LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian made for one cute couple at last night's Leeza Gibbons' Dare2Care Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party at Boa restaurant in L.A.

Ms. Rimes did address her sometimes controversial love life during her two-song performance--at least that's what it sounded like she was doing...

"We all make mistakes," the country star told the crowd. "We all need support. We all need love. And we all need to not judge. If there's one thing I've learned in this business since I was 13 years old when I started, that's the one thing I've learned."

Hear that haters?

She continued, "And I think that last song ["What I Cannot Change"] really talked about [how] we never know what we're going to get thrown in life and we can't change a lot of it, but we can change how we respond to it and how we love one another."

After her words of wisdom she belted out her signature song,"How Do I Live."

During the event, Rimes and Cibrian kept their lovey-doveyness to a minimum, talking intimately over food and taking pictures of themselves on a cell phone. Other celebs at the bash were honoree Jamie Lee Curtis, Fran Drescher and former DWTS-ers Jennifer Grey, Lance Bass and Mario Lopez, who all took pics inside the Ultimat Vodka Photo Booth.
