The upcoming season of MTV’s popular series, “The Hills,” might be the last — at least for Lauren Conrad.

“Every season, I think it’s the last,” Conrad told Entertainment Weekly. “Right now, I think this is the last season.

“I go through phases when I’ve been filming where I wake up in the middle of the night and I think I’m being filmed,” she continued. “That’s when I have to take a vacation.”

Though it appears a relaxing getaway is not what Conrad’s father has in mind for the budding starlet. He hopes his daughter starts getting serious about her career and future.

“He’s like, ‘Let’s talk about your five-year-plan,’” Conrad told EW. ‘‘I go, ‘Let’s talk about my five-day plan. I don’t even know that.’”

“Hills” creator Adam DiVello has a whole other plan in mind when it comes to Conrad’s life in front of the camera.

“I’d love to stay with (the show) until Lauren gets married,” DiVello said.

In the new EW article, Conrad also addressed criticism that “The Hills” recreates moments especially for TV.

“I get that there are certain scenes where someone’s like, ‘Sooo, last night was weird….’” Conrad said. “And then there are people on the show who really don’t help, because they are very fake. We know who we’re talking about — like, you need to stop rehearsing your breakfast.’’

Conrad would not divulge who she is referring to, but her frenemies, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, told EW in 2007 that they fake fights for the cameras.
