It's very difficult for "Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon to interview Kristen Wiig — because she'll never go on the show as herself.
Oh, sure, she appeared on the NBC late night talk show Wednesday. But instead of dropping in to discuss her new movie, "Ghostbusters" (OK, she did do some of that) Wiig put on a beaded Jovani gown, curled her hair, carried a rose and sat down as the latest "Bachelorette," JoJo Fletcher.
But if you're not watching "The Bachelorette" and have never heard of Fletcher, that's not a problem: Apparently, Wiig has no clue what she's like either.
When Fallon showed her pictures of Fletcher's on-show final four suitors, she called Luke Pell "Scotchy," Jordan Rodgers "Mark Hamill," Chase McNary was "Deucey" and Robby Hayes was "Korn." She also called Hayes "the one I like."
Fallon had to question her nickname for him, though. "I don't think this man would be caught dead at a Korn concert," he said.
"That's what’s so great about the show," agreed Wiig. "You don't know what's really there."
And that's what we love about JoJo. Er, Kristen.
Bonus: Fletcher herself loved the "impersonation"!
