The Kardashian family drama isn't limited to just the adults.

First, the good news: Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's 11-month-old son, Mason, is A-OK.

As for the scary news: he was nonetheless rushed to the hospital via ambulance on Friday night. So what happened?

Blame the dreaded food allergies.

"Mason had a little allergic reaction over the weekend, on Friday night, to peanut butter," grandma Kris Jenner explained while appearing alongside Kim Kardashian on Good Day L.A. this morning.

"He's totally fine," Kim added. "Kourtney just, you know, as a new mom, she takes extra precautions, so she called 911 and an ambulance came, but they're totally fine."

Paramedics wasted no time in arriving to the home of Scott and Kourtney, who had freshly returned from filming the upcoming E! reality show Kourtney and Kim Take New York, and also insisted on the extra precaution of insisting on taking Mason to the hospital for further examination.

Because it's better to be safe than...you know.

"You have to be really careful," Kris said, adding that the incident took place when Kourtney was going through the standard motherly procedure of introducing new foods into Mason's diet.

"She gave him just the smallest little taste to see what would happen."

"You have to test out new foods to see if they have any food allergies," Kim added.

Luckily, Mason left the hospital with a clean bill of health. We're guessing his parents left with slightly increased blood pressure.

Kourtney also took to her blog this morning to set the story straight, writing under the headline, " Mason Is Doing Fine," just in case there were any lingering doubts.

"Friday night Mason ate some peanut butter and had a little allergic reaction to it. He threw up within minutes of tasting it and got hives on his face.

"He was in good spirits the whole time and didn't even know anything was wrong. He even enjoyed riding in the ambulance. He's such a good boy!!"

Not so good? Whoever's responsible for that creeptastic bush-hiding video that surfaced on RadarOnline.com this morning.

"The creepy part is...WHO took those pictures and video I've seen online from outside our house?" Kourtney wrote.

Still, props to mamas Kourtney and Kris--the former for trusting her motherly instincts, and the latter for managing to take a scary situation and turn it into a plug!

Ostensibly on Good Day L.A. to promote their partnership with Skechers, Kris managed to finesse the sponsor into their conversation.

"She was wearing [Skechers] when she took him in. That's how she got to the hospital so fast."

That, ladies and gentlemen, is how you sell.
