Mmm, Kit Kat bars! They're chocolatey, crispy and, as it turns out, surprisingly complicated to consume.

Oh, sure, you might think you've got the whole take-a-bite-and-chew-it-up routine mastered, but there's a lot more to it than that — at least if you ask reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian.

In fact, you don't have to ask! Kourtney offered up this 6-step Kit Kat-eating hack for her app without even being prompted by confused candy-bar enthusiasts.

Get ready, because this isn't just a Kit Kat game-changer. According to the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star, who couldn't possibly be overstating it, it's a life-changer.

Step 1: "First you break off the piece, like one piece."

Got it?

Step 2: "And then you eat the chocolate on the end — and the other end."

Sure, it sounds easy enough, but even Kourtney stumbled on this step, announcing that she "ate too much." There shouldn't be any crunching going on yet.

Step 3: "Then you eat the chocolate down each side."

If it looks like you're eating chocolate-covered corn on the cob, you're doing it right!

Step 4: "You pull the top layer off, and you eat that."

There's no way to mess that up.

Step 5: "Then you separate it again and eat the bottom piece."

You've got this.

Step 6: Now what? "You eat the middle piece, which is so good."

She calls that last step "the best part of the whole Kit Kat," and she promises that if you follow her routine once, "you will never eat a Kit Kat any other way."

After all, "it's pretty life-changing."

So, where did she learn this bit of snack-time wisdom? From her little sister Kim. But as it turns out, others were already wise to the technique.

Yes, it seems there are plenty of honorary Kit Kat Kardashians out there.
