Since Kathie Lee and Hoda aren't at the Olympics with the TODAY show crew, they took it upon themselves to set up their own little Olympic village just outside Studio 1A.
The ladies kicked off their Friday Olympic-themed show with their wine glasses held high, clothed in track suits. It was quite the procession, including their own custom-made flags and gymnasts tumbling beside them.
"All right, we have an all-Olympic show today," Hoda said. "We're going to learn a few things with British slang and we have the most ridiculous, ridiculous obstacle course known to man."
Still, Hoda admitted there was something she didn't like: "The bets are two to one for Kathie Lee winning the obstacle course. Where is the outrage?"
"I don't know, I don't feel it today," KLG said. "It's game day and I just don't feel it.
Perhaps all she needed to fortify her Olympic spirit was Olympic punch from the Hotel Savoy in London, a drink that includes gin and camomile tea. "Oh, it's good for you," KLG said, and took a sip.
The ladies took some time to admire their custom track suits.
"They're not the most flattering," Kathie Lee told Hoda. "You look good in yours because you're 8 feet tall and, you know, you're slender. I'm post-menopausal and have my problems."
