Kidding around: KLG, Hoda meet their goat namesakes

Peter Kramer / Today
Kathie Lee and Hoda met their goat equivalents on Friday.

Your ears did not deceive you — there were goats on the Fourth hour this morning.

Victoria Marr of the Stamford Museum and Nature Center in Connecticut brought by two baby goats, who were named after Kathie Lee and Hoda (based on a popular vote).

Hoda was shocked to meet a goat named Hoda.

The ladies were surprised to meet their animal pals, who each actually kind of took after their namesakes.

The Kathie Lee goat is blond and chatty, and the Hoda goat is a playful brunette.

The Hoda goat also seemed interested in human Hoda's glass of wine.

Let's not read into it any more than that.

Is there anything better than having a goat named after you?

"Oh my God, we have our own goats!" Hoda gushed.

"This is better than the Maxim list!" crowed KLG. "How many people have one of these?"
