"Boss" star Kelsey Grammer knows he's made mistakes in his life. And in an interview with Anderson Cooper for "Anderson Live" airing Wednesday, he acknowledges that he didn't exactly handle his divorce from "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Camille Grammer in the best possible way.

As fans of the show may remember, during season one of the hit Bravo reality show, Kelsey appeared rather cool toward his then-wife when she flew to NYC with her gal pals to support him at the premiere of his Broadway musical.

"Did you ever regret any of those scenes you were in?" asked Anderson. "Because some of them were very awkward."

"Yeah, yeah," the actor told Anderson. "I was trying to pretend things were normal for the sake of somehow letting her have that moment. It was just ill advised. It was the wrong decision and I should have come home from England when I first met Kayte and just said, 'Listen I've met somebody and this hasn't been working for a long time.' "

Kelsey married his fourth wife, Kayte, two weeks after his divorce from Camille was finalized.

"I regret not (telling Camille)," Kelsey said on "Anderson Live." "I thought I could do something nice, some parting thing and so yeah it was very painful and uncomfortable. It was uncomfortable for Kayte, it was uncomfortable for all of us."
