"CBS Evening News” anchor Katie Couric may soon join the long list of celebrity Gleeks who’ve gone on to become “Glee” guest stars.

According to Deadline, show execs are “in talks” with Couric and hope to convince her to make an appearance at William McKinley High for “Glee’s” post-Super Bowl bash. If Couric agrees, she'll play herself in the Feb. 6 cheerleading championships episode alongside Jane Lynch's fan favorite character Sue Sylvester.
