Katherine Heigl is giving fans an update about the surgery she underwent to repair a herniated disc in her neck.

The "Firefly Lane" star shared a slideshow of pics of herself Wednesday on Instagram along with the good news that her procedure was a success.

"Well... I am now bionic!! Two titanium disk now inhabit my neck and I can probably stand on my head for like hours... I’m not gonna try it just yet but give me a few months and I’ll blow your mind!!" she wrote next to the pics.

Heigl's first photo shows her wearing a cervical spine immobilizer, a special brace designed to hold the neck in place. A bandage can be seen on her neck as she poses next to a green shamrock balloon in honor of St. Patrick's Day.

The former "Grey's Anatomy" cast member also shared a pic of herself lying in her hospital bed after the procedure, and another one showing X-rays of her neck.

"I am so deeply deeply grateful to the incredible Dr’s and care team that saved me from the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced and blessed me with a new pain free lease on life!" she continued before giving a "shout-out" to the surgeon who performed her surgery, as well as Cedars Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital, where the procedure was performed.

"Heading into surgery and hospital stays is always a bit scary and you guys could not have made me feel more comfortable or taken care of! Thank you thank you thank you!! ❤️❤️❤️" she wrote, adding, "Oh and HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY! Clearly I’ve been blessed with the luck of the Irish today! ☘️"

Heigl's update comes just days after she announced she was going through a "health crisis."

The "27 Dresses" star shared a video on Instagram last Friday of her husband, musician Josh Kelley, singing as he made his morning coffee. In her caption, she revealed the couple traveled from their ranch in Utah to Los Angeles so she could receive care.

“First trip since the start of the pandemic is back to LA to deal with a herniated disk in my neck,” Heigl wrote. “Thank God for @joshbkelley for not only coming with me to hold my hand but for providing me with some very much needed comedic relief! I mean...only Josh can or would harmonize with the coffee maker!"

A short time later, the mom of three shared another video of Kelley in an examination room, jokingly pretending to analyze her X-ray images.

“Well ma’am, I’ve got some bad news,” Kelley says in the short clip. But then he quickly changes his tune, telling his wife, “Your brain is absolutely gorgeous!”

“Another @joshbkelley gem,” Heigl wrote in the caption. “This is definitely the guy you want by your side during a health crisis. Though...I don’t think I’d bring him to the OB with me. Those jokes would just be too far.”
