Nearly a year after Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift’s MTV Video Music Award acceptance speech, reports are surfacing that West will return to this year’s VMA awards to perform. Reps for West and the show have not commented, but in the meantime, West dropped this new single on his blog. Since Taylorgate, West has laid pretty low. One source close to West said that “he needed a long vacation,” and that he needed some time to “re-center.” And recently, West joined Twitter (@KanyeWest), where he shares things like “I got the best leather pants collection since the 80’s.” The VMAs air Sept. 12.
