Once again, wedding bells are rumored to be right around the corner for Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, but rather than denying the news, the “SexyBack” singer is reportedly the one who started the buzz.

According to OK! magazine, Justin dropped the nuptial hint to a group of friends at last week’s Fashion Rocks concert.

“Justin said that he is ‘this close to being married’ and then pinched his fingers together to demonstrate,” an eavesdropper revealed.

Grumpy film critic strikes Roger EbertThanks to one hotheaded film critic, there was more off-screen action than audience members bargained for at a Toronto Film Festival press screening.

The New York Daily News reports that a showing of Danny Boyle’s latest film, “Slumdog Millionaire,” was interrupted when New York Post critic Lou Lumenick got physical with veteran Chicago Sun-Times critic Roger Ebert.

A Daily News source overheard Lumenick repeatedly yell, “Don’t touch me!” before standing up and “thwacking” Ebert with his festival binder.

“Apparently, Roger was just trying to tap Lumenick on the shoulder to signal him that he couldn't see the movie,” the source said. “He was trying to ask him to move over a bit.”

The former “At the Movies” host is unable to speak due to his lengthy battle with thyroid and salivary gland cancer, and Lumenick was unaware of who he struck until he turned around. Another eyewitness claims the Post critic remained unapologetic after learning it was Ebert.

Thursday, on his Sun-Times site, Ebert referred to the Daily News report as “basically accurate.”

“I think the guy was wrong,” the 66-year-old wrote. “A film critic of all people should be respectful of the sight-lines of fellow audience members. But in one way I feel sorry for him. He had no idea who was behind him when he smacked me. Now it looked like he was picking on poor me. I have had my problems, but I promise you I am plenty hearty enough to withstand a smack, and quite happy, after the smack, to tap him again.”

Dish on the flyHe’s never been known for his work as an ad man, but Rob Lowe claims the sexual harassment allegations of two nannies hurt his career by preventing him from appearing in commercials.  “I have never acted inappropriately with Ms. Gibson or Ms. Boyce,” the “Brothers & Sisters” star said in a court deposition posted to E! Online. “Since the headline that a second nanny sued me for sexual harassment, I have been passed over for at least three commercials, any of which could have ultimately resulted in income of over $1 million.” … When celebrity romancer and Tour de France champ Lance Armstrong was asked about what sort of woman he prefers, he told Men’s Vogue, “I don't discriminate — on anything.” Well, the cyclist admitted to one partiality — whoever she is, she should be “hotter than doughnut grease.” … Get ready for Brenda Walsh to say good-bye to “90210” once more. Entertainment Weekly reports Shannen Doherty’s much-hyped appearance on the revamped Beverly Hills drama is only a four-episode affair. “They asked me to do a lot more,” Shannen said, but “I'm in the middle of pitching a show, (so) I couldn’t commit to more than (I did).”
