Needing someone to water her plants during the New York City premiere of her show on Friday, Ellen DeGeneres called in her special East Coast gardener.
A sleeveless Justin Bieber emerged, showing that when it comes to gardening ... he's a great singer. Bieber's watering can was empty, but their gardening talk was quickly drowned out by the screams of his fans in the crowd. Ellen congratulated him on his latest No. 1 hit, "What Do You Mean?" before the two of them fired T-shirt guns into the crowd.
The pop star visited DeGeneres one day after wowing the crowd with his performance on the plaza for the TODAY summer concert series.

He also put on a small show in the TODAY green room afterward for a special audience of young people who'd lost loved ones in the 9/11 attacks — the Cantor Fitzgerald 9/11 Families — as well as kids from the Make-A-Wish foundation. He followed the acoustic performance by taking pictures and giving out some hugs.
