The judge in Anna Nicole Smith's drug conspiracy trial in Los Angeles has told jurors to disregard part of a former nanny's testimony because he did not consider it reliable.

The judge ordered it stricken from the record after Quethlie Alexie gave a dramatic account of an incident outside the jury's presence but told jurors a significantly different version.

Alexie had told jurors how Smith drank a bottle of medicine and fell into a two-day slumber from which she could not be roused.

In their absence, she described Smith's boyfriend Howard K. Stern crying, shaking her and saying if anything happened to her, he would go to jail.

Stern and two doctors have pleaded not guilty to drug conspiracy charges. They are not charged in Smith's drug overdose death.
