"We can confirm that Jodie Sweetin got engaged to Justin Hodak last night and they are both thrilled," a representative for the actress told TODAY Friday.

Sweetin recently opened up about her romance with Hodak in an interview with People.

"We met through mutual friends years ago and we reconnected a little over two years ago," she revealed. "It's been really good ever since."

This will be Sweetin's fourth marriage; she and musician Morty Coyle, with whom she has daughter Beatrix, split in 2013 after tying the knot in 2012. She was also previously married to Cody Herpin (the two have daughter Zoie together) and Shaun Holguin.

It's been an exciting week for Sweetin, who shared a collage of family photos from her birthday dinner earlier this week.

Other "Fuller House" cast members, including Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber and Lori Loughlin, celebrated Sweetin's 34th birthday Tuesday with warm tributes on Instagram.

Sweetin will reprise her role as sassy middle sister Stephanie Tanner on "Fuller House," which hits Netflix on Feb. 26, and can be seen in several newly released set photos.
