Christmas came early for "lucky" fans of Jim Carrey and his new film "Dumb and Dumber To."
The actor, who is back as Lloyd Christmas in the sequel to his 1994 comedy, gave his character's signature bowl haircut to people on Hollywood Boulevard as part of a skit for "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Thursday.
With a barber's chair, some clippers and an assortment of kitchen bowls, Carrey told Kimmel that he had never cut anyone's hair before, but was "willing to try."
First in the chair was Colby, a long-haired surfer type who said he was from Huntington Beach, California. Carrey combed Colby's mane forward over his face and placed a mixing bowl atop his head. Then, to the gasps of Kimmel's studio audience, he hacked his way across Colby's forehead with a small pair of scissors.
After the big reveal showed Colby's blunt new 'do, Kimmel asked if he was in shock.
"No, I'm psyched," Colby said. "Jim Carrey just cut my hair."
Next in the chair was a woman named Deanna, who had blond hair down past her shoulders. Had.
Carrey said he was going to "eyebowl" this one and proceeded to remove pretty much all of the woman's hair.
Eventually, with his hand on Deanna's shaved head, Carrey said, "It symbolizes the control I have over the mind of my fans."
"Dumb and Dumber To" is in theaters now.
