Jewel and husband Ty Murray will soon have an extra set of “Hands” around the house – they have a bundle of joy on the way!
The singer told People she found out the good news on her first day at work on her new Bravo reality series, “Going Platinum.”

“I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!” the 36-year-old singer told the mag. “It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I’d start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, ‘Oh, she’s pregnant.’”
The couple, who wed in 2008, has been trying to conceive for two years.

“I have always been a workaholic, so I had to learn how to slow down and take care of myself in a different way,” Jewel explained
In addition to her new Bravo series with former “American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi, Jewel is reportedly hard at work on her second children’s album and the couple is also in the midst of turning a guest room on their 2,200-acre Texas ranch into a nursery for the baby.
“I’m trying to be in the moment and really enjoy my pregnancy,” Jewel said. “I feel really lucky.”
