When she’s not busy promoting her own line of hair extensions, designer shoes or that upcoming dress collection, Jessica Simpson’s set to shill beer. DallasNews.com reports the pop-turned-county darling is the new spokesperson for Stampede Light Plus.

“(Jessica’s) the face of the brand now,” Lawrence Schwartz, Stampede's president and chief executive, told the paper.

Actually, she's more than the face of the brand — Jess is part owner of the brew. The details of the partnership are still hush-hush, but the singer now holds a 15 percent stake in the vitamin-enhanced beer.

On the Stampede Web site, Schwartz says the beer is for people who “choose to look after themselves” and that Jessica “is America’s sweetheart and an internationally known entertainer who takes care of herself. You can see it in her smile, her skin, her confidence, and her obvious physical fitness.” And, evidently, her beer.

“As an entrepreneur, I am always looking for ways to diversify my portfolio with good ideas and good people,” Jessica said of the deal.  “Yes, I work out and take care of myself, but I also like a cold beer once in a while.”

“It's very difficult to be a career person and have a relationship,” the “Sleepless in Seattle” star confessed. “I didn't succeed at doing it at all. It's incredibly hard.”

Meg’s 10-year marriage to Dennis Quaid ended in divorce after she stared dating Russell Crowe. She called off the relationship with her “Proof of Life” co-star just months later.

As for any future attempts at juggling love life and a career, Meg believes it may be possible to make room for romance one day.

“I think you have to figure out some way of keeping all of those capabilities and requirements in your life in balance," she told Hello.

Dish on the flyThe McGosling match is back on! Us Weekly reports “The Notebook” stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams have rekindled their romance after going their separate ways last year. “They've been talking a lot,” an insider revealed. “Their friends are quite pleased that they're getting back together and are trying to give them space.” … You can call her a skinny-mini; just don’t say Victoria Beckham needs diet pills to get that way. According to the Daily Star, the former Spice Girl plans to sue Now magazine over a recent story that claimed she pops pills in order to stay so slim. “The accusation is dangerous, defamatory and blatantly untrue,” Posh’s agent, Jo Milloy, said in a statement. “Victoria takes her position as a role model to young women very seriously and is horrified by this hurtful, fabricated story. It is now with her lawyers.” … Even though their twin bundles of joy aren’t due until next year, Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O’Connell already have a name for one of the babies-to-be. The model-turned-actress decided to name her daughter after her favorite country songstress, Dolly Parton. “I have been a Dolly fan all of my life,” Rebecca told In Touch. “She’s a wonderful woman. I really connect with her music. I can’t think of a better role model for my children!”
