Jessica photos too steamy for her mom

Simpson parents don’t seem to agree on their daughter’s look

Are Jessica Simpson’s parents butting heads over their daughter’s sexy image?

The reality show star’s manager father has publicly applauded his daughter’s bodacious appeal. “She just is sexy,” Joe Simpson once said. “If you put her in a T-shirt or you put her in a bustier, she's sexy in both. She's got double Ds! You can't cover those suckers up!”

But now there’s buzz that Simpson’s mother furiously put the brakes on a racy photo shoot that her hubby had approved. The divorcing “Dukes of Hazzard” star recently posed for OK! magazine, and her father gave his thumbs up to a shot of her lying on a bed in her skivvies while a hunky guy near her unbuttoned his shirt.

“Time out! Hold it!” Simpson’s mother, Tina, was shouting, according to the Hamilton Spectator. “Nope, this isn't going to work.” Tina Simpson said she was forbidding her daughter to be photographed that way and that the pose made the starlet look “slutty” reports the mag. A source says: “The parents had a discussion with Tina saying: ‘Trust me, I'm her mother. This isn't the image we want.’”

Too much tub time“Desperate Housewife” Eva Longoria also wants to cover up.

The actress who plays vixen Gabrielle Solis says she’s asked her boss to cut some of those sexy bath scenes — and find something more decent for her to wear than va va voom lingerie.

“I didn't realize how much lingerie I'd be in and how much time I'd spend in the bathtub,” Longoria said, reports IMDB. “I actually had to go to the director and go, ‘Can you please stop putting me in the bathtub?’”

The reasons aren’t entirely for modesty, however. “It's a pain in the [bleep] to shoot,” she griped. “You're naked and they just fill it up with bubbles and basically they put body make-up on you so you look beautifully tanned with flawless skin and then it just comes off in the water so you're sitting in this brown water all day. There have been times when they do all the tub scenes in one day, so I go out and in comes Ricardo Chavira, then in comes Jesse Metcalfe. I'm like ‘Guys, can we space out the tub scenes?’”

Notes from all overMore from Ken Jennings. Last week, the “Jeopardy” winner shocked some fans with a rather snarky “humor” piece about the quiz show that earned him millions. He then took pot shots at people at the New York Post and AP — as well as ordinary citizens — who he says didn’t get his jokes. When the controversy erupted, the once-mild mannered trivia accumulator at first edited his message board to take out the nasty comments, then he temporary shut them down altogether ... Clear Channel is angry with The Scoop. When we first ran an item about Madonna fans who were petitioning the radio station, claiming that it was boycotting their idol, Clear Channel spokesmen told us they had no comment. The next day, they emailed us a “clarification” and we happily ran something saying that they denied the accusation. Now they’re really mad. “Enough is enough. We must now ask for an outright correction,” they said. “These are not denials or counter-claims — they are facts.” Happy now? ...  Brazilian rock group CSS has written a song for Paris Hilton. “She got a CSS song of her own because Rezende [a guitarist in the band] used to ogle pictures of her on a fotolog of drunk celebrities,” frontwoman Lovefoxxx told the London Guardian. “She was always photographed drunk, cross-eyed, falling over. She's drunk because she's rich and she's rich because she's famous and she's famous because she's rich. Which is really weird. It seemed kind of cool at the time.”
