'Jersey Shore's' Vinny apologizes for rap lyrics

Vinny Guadagnino of "Jersey Shore" has apologized for casually referring to rape in a rap he posted up on YouTube after a sexual abuse support group called him out on it.

Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino was criticized by the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN) and the Twitter community after posting a YouTube video of himself rapping a "Rack City Mix" with the explanation, "I felt like being a naughty boy and rapping like a G. Ladies I still love you."

So what did he say that got people all riled up?

At first, the Jersey Shore reality star didn't understand what the hype was all about, tweeting, "Whoa! Some people really know how to take things out of context ! #LearnToListenToMusic ...It was fun though!" and later realized that it was time for damage control, "Sorry for offensive rap. I'm 100% against violence &work with many organizations to stop it. Will continue to do so."
