The Jennifer Lawrence charm offensive continues apace! The latest example: Lawrence deciding an interview on "Late Show With David Letterman" is beyond saving, and staging a walkout — with her host in tow!
Lawrence and Letterman's chat Wednesday night seemed to be on track at first. They were discussing a scene from the last "Hunger Games" movie "Catching Fire" in which Lawrence's Katniss character shot a very strategic arrow, a move Letterman compared to the 7-10 split in bowling.
After that, things sort of fell apart. A request for a clip of what a 7-10 split looked like failed to materialize, as did a clip from the new, upcoming "Hunger Games" entry "Mockingjay Part 1," and suddenly the Oscar winner had put her necklace in her mouth, agape at the loss of control.
"What do you want to do?" Letterman asked her.
"I don't know, what do you want to do?" she asked back. "You wanna get out of here?"
Who's gonna say no to that? The pair then walked off stage and waved g'night. You could say they ... split.
