We love Vanessa Bayer’s impression of Jennifer Aniston’s “Friends” character, Rachel — much more than Aniston herself does, it seems!

Bayer was in full Rachel mode during a Weekend Update segment on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend. To her mock surprise, Aniston popped in and tried to set her straight.

“Listen, honey, I know that you love ‘Friends’ and we had such a great time making our movie together, but you've gotta really try to stop texting me every day,” Aniston told Bayer, her co-star in the upcoming film “Office Christmas Party.”

Aniston then cut straight to the heart of the matter: “‘Friends’ was like 5,000,005 years ago, so I think we've just gotta move on.”

But Bayer was reluctant to move on from what she described as a “great bit as Rachel.” Aniston shot back, “Is it a great bit, though?”

In an attempt to prove her point, Aniston did an impression of Bayer doing an impression of Rachel. Bayer took that as a cue to jump back into character and talk over Aniston. We were in Rachel heaven!

Emma Stone was the guest host for the episode, which featured Alec Baldwin reprising his Donald Trump character in the cold open. The real-life president-elect was not a fan.
