Though she’s in the hospital ready to give birth any day (or week) now, Angelina Jolie’s still getting last-minute pregnancy advice.

The latest bit of unsolicited wisdom comes from fellow celeb Jane Seymour. The veteran actress, who’s also a veteran of twin births, told OK! magazine Angie needs to pack on the pounds.

“My advice to (Angelina) is to put some weight on,” the mother of four said. “I think she needs to keep putting on weight so she can feed those babies. I don’t think she should think twice. She hasn’t put on enough weight.”

Jane’s butting in because she’s been there before. The “Dr. Quinn” star gave birth to her own matching pair of babies in 1995, but complications almost cost the actress her life.

“I nearly died having the twins,” she confessed. “I had preeclampsia, which is toxemia, and I had to have an emergency C-section and I almost lost my life. So my advice to (Angelina) is to listen to your doctors and if they say bed rest and they say blood-pressure cuff every hour and they say whatever medication they say, you should take it very seriously.”

Britney feels she earned shot with MadonnaThe much-hyped guest spot Britney Spears is filming for Madonna’s upcoming tour marks big changes for the embattled pop star. Britney’s grown up and struggled to put the train-wreck headlines behind her, and, according to a pal, Brit feels like she’s earned her big comeback shot.

“Britney is excited, but in a grown-up way (about the video segment for Madonna’s ‘Sticky & Sweet’ tour),” a friend of Britney’s told People magazine. “She has come a long way in the last year.”

Sure, the singer’s father-conservator deserves a fair share of credit for the new and improved Britney, but Brit’s followed through and settled down with his support. “She is — if not in control — in partnership with her father and her managers in her future,” said the pal.

As for the Madge gig, the insider told People, “Working with Madonna is a dream, but I think (Britney) feels like it’s one she’s earned.”

Dish on the flyThe gifts keep pouring in for Nicole Kidman, who gave birth to daughter Sunday Rose Urban on Monday. “She’s touched and amazed by it all,” a source close to Nicole told the Daily Mirror. “She has had hundreds of bouquets of flowers from well-wishers.” But it was the actress’s ex, Tom Cruise, who really outdid himself. “Tom was one of the first people to get in touch, and he sent her enough flowers to fill a room.” … Singer-songwriter John Mayer needs to find a better hiding place if he doesn’t want Jennifer Aniston strolling down his memory lane. Page Six reports the former “Friend” found a stash of love letters penned by John’s last ladylove, Jessica Simpson. “Jennifer was more hurt than angry at the discovery,” an insider said. “The letters surprisingly were very touching and well written.” Jessica’s letters? Really? Well, no, according to Jen’s rep, who insists the story is “completely fabricated.”
