With her life looking more and more like an “ABC Afterschool Special,” Jamie Lynn Spears is now facing teenage pregnancy without boyfriend Casey Aldridge.
In Touch Weekly reports that Jamie Lynn’s alleged baby daddy wants nothing to do with her until she gets a paternity test. According to the magazine, big sis Britney recently told a Spears family friend, “Casey doesn’t want to be with her until he’s sure that he’s the father.”
Tabloid rumors aside, Casey apparently has reason to doubt his contribution to Jamie Lynn’s conundrum. “Let’s put it this way,” the friend said. “They’ve both strayed a bit from their relationship. They’re both teenagers, after all.”
Even if the test proves Casey’s paternity, he has no plans to marry Jamie Lynn. “They’re way too young,” another family friend shared. “There’s no point in making a bad situation even worse. Of course, they would both be involved in raising the child and hopefully they can stay friends.”
Thankfully, celeb mom Lynne Spears has her daughter’s back. “(Jamie Lynn) wouldn’t know how to raise a baby without getting help from Lynne,” said an insider. “She’s just a child herself. She’s hopelessly out of her depth.”
A summer ceremony for GyllenspoonWith her divorce from Ryan Phillippe not even a year old, Reese Witherspoon is hearing wedding bells again. According to the National Enquirer’s Mike Walker, the mother of two recently said, “Yes!” to Jake Gyllenhaal’s marriage proposal.
“I’m in love with Jake, and I’m going to marry him,” Reese reportedly gushed to friends. The couple is looking forward to a summer ceremony, wrote Walker, but the “Legally Blonde” bombshell isn’t rushing into anything. Jake’s original proposal occurred last October, the same month Reese’s divorce became official.
“When Jake first proposed in Rome, he knew Reese needed time, and didn’t really expect her to say ‘yes’ right away,” an insider revealed. “He just wanted her to know that he was serious about their relationship — serious enough to make her his wife.”

I wanted to captivate people in the moment.”
So, given all the planned razzmatazz, what went wrong? “Britney is really strong with her own ideas,” Criss said, pointing out the now obvious. “And what I had planned wasn’t an easy thing to do and would have required a lot of rehearsals. Ultimately, I told her I needed 100 percent commitment or I wasn’t going to be able to do this. … So, we explored it and she decided it wasn’t for her, and I completely understand.”
