It's been a rough month for Jaime Pressly. Not only did she file for divorce, but she also owes Uncle Sam $637,000 in back taxes. And, last but not least, she was popped for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Hence, today's reckoning...

The former My Name Is Earl star was formally charged this morning with three DUI counts stemming from her her Jan. 5 traffic stop in Santa Monica--and she could face a serious sentence.

Pressly, 33, was rung up on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence, having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher and having a blood-alcohol content of 0.20 or highter. If convicted, she could spend up to six months behind bars, but is far more likely to get off with some combination of suspended license, fines, probation and alcohol-education classes.

An arraignment is set for Monday at the Los Angeles Airport Courthouse, however, the Emmy winner won't be required to attend.

Pressly's reps were not immediately available for comment.

Curiously, hours after prosecutors confirmed her DUI charges, a press release titled "Jaime Pressly Parties" was sent out by the Palms Casino in Las Vegas touting an appearance by the actress this Friday at the resort's Rain and Moon nightclubs.

All things considered, let's hope she takes a cab.
