The tribe has blindsided you: After helping to blindside Brendan last week, Tyson was blindsided at Tribal Council, voted out by an alliance of J.T., Taj, Stephen and Erinn, who pointed out that since Tyson lost the immunity challenge yet is a strong competitor, “this might just be the chance to” get rid of him. Sierra also voted against Tyson, but the alliance didn’t tell her what was happening, because she expected to go home. On his way out, Tyson called those who voted against him “sneaky bastards.”
Shocked: Sierra may have been more surprised than anyone else, because she’d essentially given up. Aligning with Brendan put her on Coach and Tyson’s bad side, and she told them, “I’m done with fighting; I’m done with everything.” But now she has three more days, and as the preview showed, a decision to make, because she could now align herself with Coach, even though he just tried to vote her out.
You’re dumb, no you’re dumb: Tyson and Sierra clashed this week, and did everything except kick sand at each other. Talking about Brendan’s plan to vote Coach off, Tyson told Sierra, “I don’t think you were the mastermind. I don’t think you’re smart enough for it.” At Tribal Council, they got into a disagreement, and Sierra said, “Tyson always likes to badger me.” When she voted for him, she told the camera, “You’re a jerk.” Sounds like they really like each other.
Can’t lose if you don’t fight: After Coach’s team lost the reward challenge, Jeff Probst mocked him, saying, Coach, you continue to lose out on these nice rewards. All that life experience not helping you out out here.” So at the immunity challenge, Coach opted not to participate: Along with J.T. and Stephen, he feasted on pizza while everyone else battled. Even dragon slayers need to stuff their faces, apparently.
Sand and sarcasm: Stephen was sent to Exile by his alliance-mate J.T. in case there was a new hidden immunity idol, since one of the other two idols left the game with Brendan. But at Exile, Stephen found no new clues. “Who wants to be feasting when they could be in sand?” Stephen asked. “Thank god I have bleak surroundings and no food.”
