Ellen DeGeneres is shaking her money maker — with a few famous friends!
The talk-show host has shared a hilarious video from next Tuesday's Season 14 premiere of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" — a trailer for a new "movie" called "Magic Michelle," an all-female reboot of "Magic Mike." The clip stars DeGeneres, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Chrissy Teigen and Olivia Munn as strippers who could have used a little more practice time on the pole.
DeGeneres introduces the clip by marveling over the box-office successes of "Magic Mike" and its sequel, "Magic Mike XXL," thanks to Dewan Tatum's husband, actor Channing Tatum, who also stops by Tuesday to give viewers an exclusive peek at the upcoming Las Vegas live show "Magic Mike Live."
"('Ellen Show' DJ) tWitch and Channing starred together in 'Magic Mike' and 'Magic Mike' was a huge, huge hit. I mean, so big that they are actually doing an all-female reboot because they are doing that with everything," said DeGeneres.
"They did 'Ghostbusters' and 'Ocean’s Eleven,' and thanks to Channing, I get to show you the exclusive sneak-peek, and here it is."
The host cast herself in the title role of Magic Michelle, a bosomy blond who struts her stuff in a not-so-sexy men's work jumpsuit — tool belt included!
Dewan Tatum stars as a bitter bookworm stripper named Peppermint, while Munn, who actually appeared in the first "Magic Mike" flick, and Teigen, fumble through their routines.
Only special guest star Oprah Winfrey nails her moves — and that's mostly likely because Winfrey's face is hilariously superimposed over a real dancer's body.
See the ladies bump, grind, and perform other awkward moves that scored them a "2 1/2 star rating on Yelp."
As for DeGeneres' guests Tuesday: in addition to Tatum, Winfrey also sits down to chat, as does Team USA gold medal-winning gymnast Simone Biles.
Sound like a magical season premiere!
