A British coroner will hear about the final hours of Amy Winehouse's life at an inquest into the soul diva's death.
The singer, who had fought drug and alcohol problems for years, was found dead in bed at her London home on July 23 at age 27.
An initial autopsy proved inconclusive, although it found no traces of illegal drugs in her system.
The singer's father, Mitch Winehouse, told mourners at her funeral that Winehouse had conquered her drug addiction and was "trying hard to deal with her drinking" at the time of her death.
In Britain, inquests are held to establish the facts whenever someone dies violently or in unexplained circumstances.
Winehouse's inquest will open Wednesday at London's St. Pancras Coroners Court.
