And here we thought everyone loves Donald Trump! Turns out, not so true.

Last month, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced that Trump will be driving the pace car at this year's race, and people were less than enthused.

In fact, a whole Facebook page has been created to voice their disagreement with this decision.

The FB page, simply titled " We Don't Want Trump to Drive the Indy 500 Pace Car," is already coming close to 6,000 likes!

So what gives?

The protest-page creator explains in a local Indy news article that, "With few exceptions, the honor of driving the pace car has been reserved for those involved with motor sports or those who have become national heroes. Trump, on the other hand, is primarily a businessman whose principal businesses are self-promotion and gambling."

Disapproval also stems from comments made by Trump against President Barack Obama when speaking of running for office.

Doug Boles of the IMS tells Indy's WTHR News, "We are monitoring the situation, but right now he's our celebrity pace car driver. We didn't realize that he was considering running for president, so clearly when we offered the ride to him, it was because he was Celebrity Apprentice and Donald Trump, the celebrity that he is."

Even if the Indianapolis Motor Speedway decides to replace Trump, time is against them. The race is scheduled for May 29, which doesn't leave too much room for changes.
