When you're married to an A-list actor like Hugh Jackman, it's got to be tough to watch him go out to movie sets where he's paid to kiss other women.
As an actress herself, Deborra-Lee Furness knows exactly what that's like, which may be why it doesn't bother her too much. But as she told Australia's "Today," there's one woman she does not want to see her husband of nearly 20 years locking lips with.
"I've told his agent he's not allowed to work with Angelina [Jolie]," said Furness, sitting next to Jackman for a recent interview. "I'm sure she's very nice."
They actually have something in common: adoption. Furness noted that she and Jackman "were going to have one [child] and adopt one," she said. (They currently have two adopted children, Ava and Oscar.)
But back to this Jolie thing. For real? "I'm just kidding," she laughed in the next breath, then affirmed her bond with Jackman. "It just goes to show [that] if you get it right, if you pick the right partner then you traverse all those travails and challenges."
"We have never been apart for more than two weeks," said Jackman.
"And we don't want to be," she said. "He tells really great jokes."
True enough — he certainly keeps us laughing:
