Wolverine's got jokes!
After Ryan Reynolds appeared with a Hugh Jackman cutout over his face in the surprise hit "Deadpool" earlier this year, fans have been waiting for Hugh Jackman to respond — and he didn't disappoint.
Reynolds received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, and Jackman took it as the perfect opportunity to poke some fun at the Canadian-born actor.
“Ryan Reynolds here. Method actor. I’m working on my Australian accent. I’m doing a Crocodile Dundee 7. You’re gonna love it,” Jackman joked while holding up a cut out of Reynold's face.
But the burns didn't stop there.
"How could a guy who failed his high school drama class be this talented?" he continued. “I have no answer for that. But to quote my favorite actor in the world, the great Australian Hugh Jackman, who, by the way, was People’s Sexiest Man Alive way before me, ‘Americans are the most generous country on the planet.’”.
According to Jackman, Reynolds now joins "the ranks of other great Canadians such as William Shatner, Leslie Nielsen and Tommy Chong" on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Maybe the two funnymen can prank each other again — maybe a "Deadpool"-"Wolverine" crossover?
