For Tyler Henry, there's an important difference between tears of sadness and tears of joy.

In his hit show on E!, "Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry," the 20-year-old connects celebrities with loved ones who have passed.

And when Henry sat down with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, both of the unsuspecting ladies couldn't stop the flow of emotions that followed.

"I have a man who's coming through, and he's insisting he pop in," the Hollywood Medium told Kotb. "The amount of love he has for you is so incredibly immense. And immediately, he's wanting to connect to his daughter."

Hoda's dad passed away while she was in college at Virginia Tech.

"He's acknowledging there's been a question whether he's seen your success and gets where you are today," Henry said, before relaying a message from her father that elicited emotional sobs from the anchor.

"'Tell my daughter I know that I got to see every single thing that she did, and I'm so proud of her.'"

Henry was also able to connect Jenna Bush Hager to an important person in her life — her grandfather on her mother's side.

"The first thing he's saying is I want her to know that I'm clear mentally," the Hollywood Medium said.

A tearful Hager told Henry that her grandpa had struggled with Alzheimer's before he passed.

Henry also added that her grandfather was looking forward to dancing with his wife again someday, adding, "When it's (your grandmother's) time to go, he'll be the first person to hold her hand and help her on the other side."
