Amid rumors of a split from husband Spencer Pratt and following some questionable behavior during a “Hills” weekend photo shoot, Heidi Montag posted a picture on her Facebook page on Monday, showing the reality starlet flanked by six men she called her “bodyguards.”

The picture will undoubtedly come as a surprise to many — including her “Hills” castmates, whom she secluded herself from over the weekend during the show’s final season photo shoot, where Access Hollywood was on set exclusively.

Montag refused to come out of her hotel room and take group photos with the cast, including Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner and Kristin Cavallari.

Her rep told Access Hollywood that the reason she wouldn’t come out is because she had mono and couldn’t talk. The illness, however, was news to everyone else over the weekend.

“Heidi’s not there and I don’t know why,” Patridge told Access. “I honestly don’t. We’re all shooting together and I think she’s shooting later… So I really don’t know why she’s not with us.”

Patridge added that Montag seemed fine a few days before the MTV shoot.

“Kristin and I just filmed with her, probably four days ago and everything seemed fine,” she said. “But, I don’t know.”

As for the bodyguards, which accompanied Montag on the MTV shoot set, Patridge said it wasn’t out of the ordinary.

“They always have bodyguards with them, so it’s not too surprising,” she noted.

Meanwhile, Cavallari didn’t hold back on her feelings over Heidi not shooting with the rest of the “Hills” gang.

“Does that make you upset?” Access asked.

“Yeah, of course,” a visibly irritated Cavallari said.

On Monday, Montag’s husband, Spencer Pratt, told Us Weekly that Montag was indeed very sick.

“It’s all true,” he told the mag. “She was sick and didn’t even want to go to that photo shoot.”

A source, however, told the mag that Montag said she is a “movie star” now, a reference to the cameo she recently filmed in Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston’s “Just Go With It,” and that led to her bizarre photo shoot behavior.

On Monday afternoon, a new report emerged concerning the star and a possible split from Pratt.

OK! magazine claimed Montag had “walked out on her husband after fewer than 18 months of marriage.”

“She’s moving out of her house and away from Spencer,” a source told the mag.

Reps for Montag and Pratt were not immediately available for comment when contacted by Access Hollywood on Monday afternoon.

The final season of “The Hills” kicks off April 27 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
