Jimmy Kimmel is returning to the Emmy stage as host!
The late night funnyman announced the news that he'll be hosting the 2016 Emmy Awards on Twitter this morning:

This will be the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" stars's second time at the helm of the ceremony, which honors excellence in TV. His first was in 2012.
He generally received good reviews the first time around; The Hollywood Reporter said his presentation was "brisk" and poked fun at both the industry and himself.

Between Kimmel's stints, Emmy duties were handled by Neil Patrick Harris (2013), Seth Meyers (2014) and Andy Samberg (2015).
The 68th Annual Emmy Awards will air on Sept. 18 on ABC.
