'Happy Gilmore' actress Frances Bay dies at 92

The Los Angeles Times attributes news of her death to her agent, Brian McCabe.

The Times says the Canadian actress landed her first film role in the 1976 Goldie Hawn-Chevy Chase comedy "Foul Play."

Bay starred as Fonzie's grandmother on "Happy Days" and later appeared on "Seinfeld" as the older woman who Jerry steals a loaf of marbled rye from.
