Hamptons residents who forked over $2,500 to rub elbows with Gwyneth Paltrow at a benefit bash last weekend left the party disappointed and in the dark.

According to the New York Daily News, the “Iron Man” star snubbed guests and refused to mingle at the Amaryllis Farm Equine Rescue Organization’s fundraiser held at Steven Klein’s farm.

“Gwyneth stayed in the house from the beginning,” complained one dissatisfied Hamptonite. “She was hanging inside the house with Steven and with Kelly Klein nearly the entire time. Nobody could go inside the house — they had security blocking the way. It was so rude.”

Gwyneth’s exclusive behavior was just one letdown for the crowd, already pained by a party theme that left them tripping the night away.

“It was a 'black' party — everybody had to wear black,” the attendee told the Daily News. “(Kevin) had a bonfire off to the side, but there were no lights whatsoever, and his backyard is huge. He has these black benches all around, and people kept crashing into them.”

When Gwyneth did leave the house for a 5-minute appearance before the masses, she was heard to exclaim, “I can’t see! I can’t see!”

Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr. on the "Let's Be Cops," red carpet, Selena Gomez is immortalized in wax and more.

That’s why Donald is suing Morrison Cohen for $5 million, reports the New York Post. Apparently the law firm had the nerve to make public note of the fact that “The Apprentice” host was once their client.

“They put my name up all over their ads like I'm in love with them, and I really don't like them,” Donald told the paper.

That dislike stems from the fact that Donald feels the firm overcharged him, but an attorney for Morrison Cohen says the big guy still owes them big bucks.

“He owes our firm about $600,000,” David Scharf said.

Dane Cook promotes movie, blasts movie promotion
Actor-comedian Dane Cook wants his fans to know he’s thrilled about appearing in the upcoming flick, “My Best Friend’s Girl,” but he’s appalled by the movie poster that promotes it.

After boasting on his MySpace blog that the film is “the best/funniest film” he’s ever done, and complimenting co-stars Kate Hudson, Alec Baldwin and Jason Biggs, Dane focused on the “poster stinking up the joint.”

“Whoever photoshopped our poster must have done so at taser point with 3 minutes to fulfill their hostage takers deranged obligations,” the “Dan in Real Life” actor wrote (all typos his). “It looks like I'm wearing Maybelline Water Shine Diamonds Liquid Lipstick. My characters name is now Winter Solstice and I'm a hooker with a heart of gold. Jason is my floral carrying pimp, while Kate is my first trick!”

Dish on the flyShe already has the ring, but Scarlett Johansson’s in no hurry to head to the altar with fiance Ryan Reynolds. “We're just enjoying our time,” she said in a quote posted to Digital Spy. “We are just recently — very recently — engaged. So we are just taking it easy. I mean, I'm 23. There is no reason to rush into it.” … Forget MySpace and Facebook; there’s a new social networking site on the scene. TMZ photographers caught David Hasselhoff stepping out of his car, which not only serves as a sweet ride but also a mobile billboard for HoffSpace. What is HoffSpace? According to David, it’s “a network where people from across the world might come together and get a conversation started over me.”
