Winning an Oscar, marrying a rock star and appearing on Glee are probably good indicators that you've made it in Hollywood. But getting your own star ain't bad, either.

Gwyneth Paltrow joined an exclusive (if well-trod upon) club as the recent TV scene stealer received the 2,427th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Monday in honor of her Oscar-winning movie career.

"This city is so much a part of my heart and soul, and the idea that my grandchildren can one day come and see my name on the sidewalk is very overwhelming," the daughter of actress Blythe Danner and late filmmaker Bruce Paltrow said in thanks.

As tends to be the case, Paltrow's induction coincides with her promo tour for the film Country Strong--and sure enough, costar Tim McGraw and writer-director Shana Feste were on hand today to say a few very flattering words.

"Gwyneth's one of the most genuine, warm and normal people that I've ever meant," McGraw said. "She inspires goodness, and that's the best kind of friend that you can have.

Paltrow's star was embedded in the sidewalk in front of the famed Madame Tussauds wax museum on Hollywood Boulevard.
