Country singer Gretchen Wilson has rescheduled one tour date and cancelled another after being advised by her doctor to take a vocal rest.
While her spokesperson says “there is nothing urgent about her condition,” Wilson has moved her scheduled Oct. 7 show in Huntsville, Ala., to Dec. 17.
Her Oct. 8 show in Perry, Ga., has been cancelled, but may be rescheduled next year. Wilson still performed Thursday night at the Virginia State Fair.
The spokesperson says Wilson “has been working non-stop for 15 months and this is the best time for her to take a rest.” The artist’s new album, “All Jacked Up,” hit stores Tuesday.
Wilson will embark on the 17-date American Revolution Tour with Big & Rich and Cowboy Troy beginning Nov. 4 in Woodlands, Texas.
