'Gilmore Girls' cast celebrates 16 years in sweet video: 'We're back'

It's been 16 years since the very first episode of "Gilmore Girls" aired, and the revival of the beloved series is just over a month away. That means it's the perfect time for fans to celebrate and anticipate.

And a new featurette, starring a few familiar faces from Stars Hollow, is the perfect way to do that.

"We're Back" offers viewers a look at a classic moments from the show's original run, as well as commentary from the cast, including Lauren Graham (Lorelai), Alex Bledel (Rory), Milo Ventimiglia (Jess) and a flannel-clad Scott Patterson (Luke).

"It's fun and exciting to be around great memories," Ventimiglia says in the video.

All over the country, fans celebrated those memories Wednesday by raising a cup of coffee at one on the 200 Luke's Diner pop-ups that offered free java and sweet swag in honor of the show's anniversary.
