George Clooney on aging: 'You can't try to look younger'

Don’t expect to see George Clooney schedule a hair dye job anytime soon.

The actor recently spoke about his marriage and his take on aging in the Hollywood limelight.

“I’m a big believer in the idea that you can’t try to look younger,” the 54-year-old told BBC Radio, adding that dyeing his hair or having plastic surgery is not an option for him. He thinks it only makes one look older. “You just have to try and look the best you can at the age you are and not worry about it.”

Whatever his stance is on aging, he must be doing something right. The actor's been crowned People’s Sexiest Man Alive twice, and is often touted as one of Hollywood’s best looking men. He also is a newlywed, and said his wife, lawyer Amal Clooney, is “someone that I enjoy spending every minute of the day with.”

“Watching the things that she does, I admire so greatly,” he said. “I’m very proud to be married to her.”
